Milestone Heirlooms

The biggest milestones in our lives deserve a gift that meets the moment. We’ll gather stories from your friends and family into an incredibly meaningful heirloom—which also serves as the highlight of any celebration or party.

Weddings: stories from family and friends about the couple, played at the reception or given as a keepsake.

Anniversaries: years of shared stories, told by the people who've watched a marriage grow. Great for parties and celebration dinners.

Retirements: colleagues and family reflecting on a career and the person behind it.

Birthdays & big events: A fiftieth birthday, graduation, or any occasion to reflect.

Milestone Heirloom with Five Voices

  • An 8-12 minute documentary portrait akin to a story you’d hear on a podcast or NPR.

  • Drawn from one-hour interviews with five family members/friends telling stories about and celebrating the person or couple being honored.

  • Digital delivery with quick download of high-quality files.

  • An heirloom copy on your choice of CD, vinyl record, or cassette.

  • Full recordings of the interviews via downloadable files.

  • Complete written transcripts of both the Milestone Heirloom and individual interviews.

Milestone Heirloom with Eight Voices

All the above, crafted from eight one-hour interviews.

Because one size doesn’t fit all families, we take pride in our custom storytelling options. You can …

  • Add additional interviews (in-person sessions may require travel fees).

  • Invite a spouse, child, or close friend to sit in on an interview.

  • Add a self-recording option (ideal for including many guests—we set up a custom recording portal for friends & family to share stories and well-wishes).

  • Add additional physical copies (e.g. an extra vinyl record) of your Audio Portrait.

  • Add an elegant hardcover book compiling carefully, lightly-edited interview transcripts. Includes 5-10 family photos per story.

  • Grow the audio into a video of your Milestone Heirloom that includes a photo slideshow with family photos, or clips from home movies/videos—a lovely option to play at the event.
